Are You Paying For Something That You Could Get For Free?

There is a good chance you are paying for something you could get for free. What do I mean? Many companies are beginning to offer bundled products and services which means there may be some opportunities to save on some of your reoccurring expenses.

Ways to Save

We all have expenses in our lives that are reoccurring. Think of some subscription services or apps that you pay for every month. First, it's a good idea to evaluate what subscriptions and apps you are actually using. Do you pay for several streaming services but only primarily watch one? If so, maybe it's time to cut the ones you're not watching and save a little dough. That's one way you can bring down your monthly expenses, but not the focus of today. Let's talk about saving using existing connections.

T-Mobile Offers

Service providers are now tacking on additional bonus items to entice customers. For example, with some T-Mobile plans, you can get Netflix. Do you know what that means? That means you may be paying for Netflix separately when you actually should be taking advantage of the subscription included with your mobile plan. Additionally, you may have access to Apple TV+ for a year so there's another potential savings opportunity. At one time, they were providing Paramount+ access. Do you see what I mean? It never hurts to check into what may be available; sign in to your account, and start digging. This isn't exclusive to T-Mobile, check into benefits that your service provider may offer.

Delta Skymiles and Instacart+

That's just one example but there are others. Not too long ago I discovered that having a Delta Skymiles account offered benefits with Instacart+. The idea is not to start adding additional services, but if you find that you have benefits for something that you're already using, why not take advantage of those opportunities?

Target Offers

While I was pursuing the Target app, I found offers for Apple trials (iCloud+, Music, Arcade, TV+).
Again, if these are services you are interested in and had plans to try, why not take advantage of a few free months?

AMEX Offers

American Express cardholders may have access to different offers and benefits. It's a good idea to log in and check it out. Once again, there may be savings opportunities for services you already use. Some that I've seen include HBO Max, Disney+, Showtime, and other apps and streaming services. Activating these offers and using your credit card to pay the bill, could provide savings on a service you're paying full price to use. While you wouldn't want to rack up unnecessary credit card charges, just plan to pay it off every month to avoid paying interest and other fees. If you use any of the food delivery services like HomeChef, Sunbasket, etc, I've found savings for these as well. Depending on what type of card, you may also get some savings on checked baggage, UberEats, and many others. Potential savings are galore!

In Summary

So far, I've shared a number of collaborations that I've discovered and some of the benefits that are/were available. I'm sure that there are many more, you just have to be willing to look. Spending a little time evaluating services that you already have and companies with that you already have relationships could potentially lead to offers that could save you money.

✨Managing Money Like a Boss requires some initiative. Taking a deeper look into services, memberships, and loyalty programs that you already utilize could lead to potential savings and benefits. You'll be happy you did!✨
